Al-Baqara
لِلْفُقَرَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أُحْصِرُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ضَرْبًۭا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَحْسَبُهُمُ ٱلْجَاهِلُ أَغْنِيَآءَ مِنَ ٱلتَّعَفُّفِ تَعْرِفُهُم بِسِيمَٰهُمْ لَا يَسْـَٔلُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ إِلْحَافًۭا ۗ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا۟ مِنْ خَيْرٍۢ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٌ﴿2:273﴾

பூமியில் நடமாடித்(தம் வாழ்க்கைத் தேவைகளை நிறைவேற்ற) எதுவும் செய்ய முடியாத அளவுக்கு அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் தங்களை அர்ப்பணித்துக் கொண்டவர்களுக்குத் தான் (உங்களுடைய தான தர்மங்கள்) உரியவையாகும். (பிறரிடம் யாசிக்காத) அவர்களுடைய பேணுதலைக் கண்டு, அறியாதவன் அவர்களைச் செல்வந்தர்கள் என்று எண்ணிக் கொள்கிறான்;. அவர்களுடைய அடையாளங்களால் அவர்களை நீர் அறிந்து கொள்ளலாம். அவர்கள் மனிதர்களிடம் வருந்தி எதையும் கேட்கமாட்டார்கள்; (இத்தகையோருக்காக) நல்லதினின்று நீங்கள் எதைச் செலவு செய்தாலும், அதை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிவான்.SAHEEH INTERNATIONAL
[Charity is] for the poor who have been restricted for the cause of Allah, unable to move about in the land. An ignorant [person] would think them self-sufficient because of their restraint, but you will know them by their [characteristic] sign. They do not ask people persistently [or at all].
