An-Nisa
مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوا۟ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَٱسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍۢ وَرَٰعِنَا لَيًّۢا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًۭا فِى ٱلدِّينِ ۚ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَٱسْمَعْ وَٱنظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَٰكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا﴿4:46﴾
ஜான் டிரஸ்ட்
யூதர்களில் சிலர் வேத வாக்குகளின் (கருத்தை) அதற்குரிய இடத்திலிருந்து புரட்டுகின்றனர்;. (இன்னும் உம்மை நோக்கி, 'நபியே! நீர் சொன்னதை) நாம் கேட்டோம், அதற்கு மாறாகவே செய்வோம்;, இன்னும் (நாம் கூறுவதை) நீர் கேளும்; (நீர் கூறுவது) செவியேறாது போகட்டும்!' என்று கூறி, 'ராயினா' என்று தங்கள் நாவுகளைக் கோணிக்கொண்டு (பேசி) சன்மார்க்கத்தைப் பழிக்கின்றனர்;. (ஆனால் இதற்குப் பதிலாக) அவர்கள் "நாம் செவியேற்றோம், இன்னும் (உமக்கு) நாங்கள் வழிப்பட்டோம்;" (இன்னும் நாம் சொல்வதை) கேளுங்கள்;, எங்களை அன்போடு கவனியுங்கள், (உள்ளுர்னா) என்று கூறியிருப்பார்களானால், அது அவர்களுக்கு நன்மையாகவும், மிக்க நேர்மையாகவும் இருந்திருக்கும்-ஆனால் அவர்களுடைய குஃப்ரின் (நிராகரிப்பின்) காரணமாக, அல்லாஹ் அவர்களைச் சபித்து விட்டான்;. ஆகையால், குறைவாகவே தவிர அவர்கள் ஈமான்கொள்ள மாட்டார்கள்.SAHEEH INTERNATIONAL
Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] usages and say, "We hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard" and "Ra'ina," twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], "We hear and obey" and "Wait for us [to understand]," it would have been better for them and more suitable.
